Monday, March 6th, 2017

ac-tune-up-schedule-nowThough it may not feel like it quite yet, springtime is just a couple short weeks away. Before you know it, temperatures will begin to warm and you’ll once again be turning on your air conditioner to keep your living space comfortable. This makes right now the perfect time to start thinking about investing in a Couer d’Alene, ID AC tune-up.

There are a number of ways to ensure that your air conditioning system works efficiently all summer long, year after year. Should You Invest In an Electronic Air Cleaner?

Monday, January 9th, 2017

Were you aware that the condition of your indoor air can actually be worse than that of the outdoors? You might believe that the air filter that came standard with your HVAC system resolves this issue, but that’s unfortunately not the case. That air filter is actually designed to protect the interior components of your HVAC unit and does little to protect the indoor air quality of your home.

This air filter should be changed every three months, at least, to continue to protect the integrity of your HVAC system. The Dangers of High Humidity

Monday, October 17th, 2016

When you think of humidity, you probably think about how much hotter it makes you feel during the summer. The excess moisture that high humidity levels bring is not just a once-a-year problem though—fall and winter can present some extreme humidity levels as well. This is particularly true when we have rainy weeks like the one we just experienced.

Air conditioning systems help remove some moisture from the air through condensing excess moisture along the indoor coil. However, not only are AC systems very limited on how much dehumidifying they can do, that doesn’t help at all when temperatures are as low as they are currently and you wouldn’t even think of using your cooling system.
