JOB DESCRIPTION

Obtain an Idaho Apprentice Card. Attend an Idaho state-recognized school for HVAC. I work in ACI’s sheet metal fabrication shop and out in the field, working on HVAC projects. You will be working with a Journeyman for your 4 years on-the-job training. You will be working in scissor lifts 25’ in the air or off 8’ to 10’ stepladders and extension ladders. You will be fabricating and installing ductwork and HVAC equipment. You will be given the opportunity to learn every aspect of HVAC, from fabrication, installation, refrigeration, controls, start-up, and maintenance. Reports to the General Manager of Commercial HVAC, Project Manager, and Journeyman.

QUALIFICATIONS

Self-motivated for your personal success as well as ACI’s success.
Willingness to achieve licensing needed to continue your career in the HVAC industry.
Ability to pass a drug test and fit for duty basic physical.
High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
The ability to attend schooling to receive hours towards your journeyman Card.
